We are excited to announce that Phase Renewables is now an official Dedicated Collection Facility (DCF) in partnership with PV CYCLE, allowing you to responsibly dispose of your end-of-life solar panels. This partnership supports our commitment to sustainability by offering you a free and easy solution to recycle your solar panels.

What Does This Mean?

As a DCF, Phase Renewables accepts photovoltaic (PV) panels for recycling. We follow PV CYCLE’s straightforward disposal procedures, ensuring the safe and responsible treatment of solar waste in accordance with the WEEE Regulations.

Recycling Procedure for <20 Panels (Household Quantities)

If you have fewer than 20 PV panels, you can follow these steps to dispose of them free of charge:

• Find Us: Locate your nearest Dedicated Collection Facility (DCF) here.
• Download & Complete the Delivery Request Form: Before your visit, download the Delivery Request Form here.
• Schedule an Appointment: Contact us to book a time to drop off your panels.
• Deliver Your PV Panels: Bring the completed form and your panels to our facility.
• Get a Signed Copy: Once we receive your panels, you’ll receive a signed copy of your Delivery Request Form as proof of delivery.

Important Note: We are unable to accept solar panels that have been fire-damaged or contaminated with construction waste. These will need to be disposed of by alternative methods.

Recycling Procedure for >20 Panels (Professional Installations)

For larger quantities (more than 20 panels) from professional installations or solar farms, Phase Renewables does not handle the collection directly. However, we can assist you in working with PV CYCLE to manage this process:

• Request a Quote: Complete the Quotation Request Form here and email it to operations@pvcycle.org.
• Provide Information: Attach details such as the number of panels, pictures, packaging information, and the size and weight of each unit.
• Agreement & Payment: Once you receive a quote and agree on the terms, proceed with payment.
• Organise Pickup: After payment, the pickup of your PV panels will be arranged.
• Prepare for Collection: Ensure that your panels are packed on pallets or other secure packaging units prior to collection.
